Agreeance

Let’s presuppose for a moment,
I saw with you,
And you with me.
Nothing pertaining to confidentiality,
But, still a feeling of pure ecstasy.
Thoughts flow as one lightning beam.
Reflecting evidence of peace,
From me to you,
And you to me.

My Mind

In here they can’t see
They can’t judge.

Their eyes can’t follow
Nor their thoughts reflect.

Alone I am.

Here, there’s no pain
I think I’m still sane.

Sunbathe

Somewhere in your mind,
The only place you had pined,
                        Stepping out of time,
                                    Finally feeling sublime.

The Caged Bear

Roaring, Pained.
                        Trapped by weak chains,
My Strength could break
                        I restrain.
Feeling their strain,
                        Instead of going wildly insane.

Rain

Rain, rain,
Don’t go,
Just stay.

The calming sound,
Eases pain.

In this torment,
I know I’m safe.

There’s no suffering,
In His embrace.

Invincible Me

Head held high,
I can fly.
Clouds pass by,
I don’t even try.

Saving Blondes,
Kissing Brunettes,
No sight of Fear,
Nor Death’s caress.

Focused on me,
I’ll set you free.
Neglecting the rest,
I’ve failed Your test.

The cancer was key,
Sin rot in me.

Without breath,
I fell.

I cannot stand.
Reaching out,
To hold your hand.

Blood rushing,
Tears shed,
Seeing the holes,
Where you bled.

My powers flee,
I’ve forsaken Thee.
My knees shatter,
I look up to see,
You accept me.

Invincible Me

To be Me

Eyes blind,
Senses dimmed.
The whir of the machine,
Starts to spin.

Afraid of rest,
Hours flee.
Enslaved at best,
What’s left of me?

The end is nigh,
My smile is rye.
They’re setting me free,
To be what I want to be.

To be Me.

Enigma

“You are searching but have not found, correct? Even though you try to see you’ve become blind?!? How have you come to this place? This plane? This existence?” The Interrogator’s quick questions were intimidating. “You are a riddle rapped in an enigma are you not?”
The Seeker sat and nodded for that was all he could do. The light seemed to dim as the Interrogator went on.
“Now, you only sit? Can’t you do something? Why don’t you speak?!?” The Interrogator’s face turned crimson with rage. “Can’t you bear the answers to my questions?”
The Seeker watched curiously. This had not been what he was seeking. The Interrogator was filled only with questions, not answers. But, was the Seeker really looking for answers? The Seeker did not truly know.
Thus, entered the Problem. She was extraordinary and mystifying. Almost as a shadow in the night, the Seeker could not tell if she was truly real or solely a mirage. She became something profound, something beautiful. Could this Problem be real?
The Seeker was never one for questions he would leave those to the Interrogator. All the Seeker knew how to do was seek. But now, finding this Problem, he no longer wanted to seek.
As the Seeker pondered, he reached out to grasp his Problem. She became something ungraspable. A rare specter, she was engulfing. The Seeker could do naught but ponder her. The Problem was both a goddess and a demon. Though she amused, she distracted. The Problem overtook the Seeker and began to change his life.
“Are you even listening?” Screamed the Interrogator. As his veins pulsed in his neck, he yelled, “Do I not deserve more than this? Can’t you respond? Where has your mind wandered off to?!?”
As the Interrogator flustered, the Seeker remained stagnant. He could not answer. The Problem was all he now sought. But, was the Problem even really there?

A Fleeting Dream

I reach out to hold her hand,
She pulls away.

I try to walk her side,
Her strode evades.

I look in her eyes,
Her pupils lose mine.

As I strive, as I yearn for her,
Wisdom walks away.

Redeeming White

Wiping the spit from my eye,
            You take my hand,
                        We  can fly.
Sober, am I?
            Love is Thy.
I shall live though you had die.
Just to clarify.
            Without you, I am nigh.
                        Sin, I cannot justify.
                                    Yet, through grace, I’m purified.

Ignorant Black

What is truth?
            All I see is lie.
Light shadowed by darkness,
            Creeping within my eye.
I start to turn blind,
            I ask myself why?
Even if though try,
            I cannot fly.
People live, people die,
            Baal’s stomach to satisfy.
